RDOC

Resource Dissemination and Outreach Center (RDOC) (1U24TR002278-02) is a NIH Common Fund funded component of the Illuminating the Druggable Genome (IDG) project.  As such, RDOC is tasked with facilitating the sharing of information and resources developed by other IDG consortium members, Data and Resource Generation Centers (DRGCs) and Knowledge Management Center (KMC).  The RDOC award is awarded to Dr. Stephan Schürer at University of Miami, Dr. Larry Sklar and Dr. Tudor Oprea both at University of New Mexico.   The website DruggableGenome.net gives further descriptions of the consortium and resources produced. This work is in collaboration with the Division of Translational Informatics in the Department of Internal Medicine, see their website: datascience.unm.edu.

Previous IDG work by Dr. Sklar’s group was the Knowledge Management Center (KMC) as part of the pilot phase of IDG, see KMC site for more information.
